The majority of grass tracks are fields on working farms, given over to harness racing on one or two dates each year. Many of these venues are an integral part of the circuit of country shows, especially around late summer when hardly a week passes without an opportunity to race! |

The UK boasts only a handful of hard tracks, which have the obvious advantage of being better able to cope with adverse weather conditions, allowing racing to take place week after week throughout the season (Easter - October) |
