Harness racing has been around in this country for many years, and yet it still manages to escape the attention of the media, despite being a very 'spectator-friendly' sport. Most tracks are ½-mile or less in circumference, meaning the crowd is never far from the action. And yes, there is action a-plenty, with some very determined horses & drivers vying for position as they pace the mile in fractionally over 2 minutes from a rolling start.
